27/01/2006 03:05 Our primary server is currently offline whilst network maintenance is carried out on the network it is attached to. This work is expected to be completed by 04:00. Until then, there will be no access to web-sites or email, however incoming email should be queued up on our backup server and be delivered when connectivity is restored. |

13/04/2005 11:01 The earlier outage was caused by the failure of a core piece of networking equipment, which has for the meantime been resolved. Emergency maintenance to this area of the network is underway. |
13/04/2005 10:04 All services have been restored and all mail that was queued on our backup servers has been delivered to the respective mailboxes. We are awaiting a technical explanation from the engineers. |
13/04/2005 09:26 We are currently experiencing connectivity issues to our primary server. Customers will currently be unable to access their web-sites or email, however all mail is being queued up on our backup servers and will be delivered in due course. The problem appears to be affecting several racks of servers in the datacentre in which our server is located and we are informed that engineers are on site and investigating. We will post un update as soon as we know the exact nature of the problem. |
| 05/12/2004 - Server outage |
06/12/2004 18:00 The outages were due to the the cpu fan failing and the motherboard shutting off the cpu to prevent damage. We replaced the cpu fan and heatsink this afternoon and do not expect any further outages. The outages were only as long as they were due to us not being able to cycle power remotely. This was because of a failure in the power controller unit that our server is attached to, we are advised that this will be replaced very soon. Email should have become available again around 4pm this afternoon and as last time, none will have been lost, only delayed. We appologise for the inconvenience this failure may have caused. |
| 05/12/2004 09:00 Our engineers are visiting the server tomorrow afternoon to restore service and hopefully find the underlying cause of the two recent outages and remedy it. We will post an update tomorrow afternoon. |
| 05/12/2004 07:30 The primary server failed at around 07:15 this morning. At this time we believe the problem to be linked to a similar issue last weekend. Due to the fault with the power controller supplying the server, we are unable to remotely cycle power and restore service immediately. A request has been made for the server to be manually rebooted as soon as possible. |

03/10/2004 12:15 Web-sites were unavailable for a short period of time earlier today due to a problem with the Apache web-server. |

26/08/2004 03:30 The problem is now resolved. We appologise for this regrettable downtime. As those of you who have been with us for some time will be aware, this and the power failure a couple of weeks ago, are the first notable outages we have suffered in over a year. We hope you will understand that these were rare occurrences and accept our sincere appologies. |

14/08/2004 21:55 The server is now up again and functioning correctly. As suspected, the problem was due to a failure of a power feed which supplied a number of servers, ours included. We appologise for this brief downtime. |
